The Coppo Portoghese roof tile is our source of pride and our current range available in Australia.

The Coppo Portoghese has been approved by the Miami Dade, which has one of the most stringent and most demanding testing procedures for roof tiles in the world. The Miami Dade approval permits the Coppo Portoghese to be installed on the rooftops of homes and business in Florida, USA, which has some of the most severe weather in the world, including tornadoes, hurricanes, torrential rain and extreme heat.

This Coppo Portoghese is available in range of different colours, with our most popular being: Red, Aged, Old Europe, Sun Tile, and White.

The Red colour conveys the classical “clay” look, and it is the ideal finish not only for new buildings but also for renovated ones.

“Aged” fits perfectly to the architecture of rural as well as urban buildings. The colour results from a special finishing process which combines four different colours, into shades and streaks. The installed roof conveys to the house a beautiful and instant ancient character and a unique harmony.

The main characteristic of “Old Europe” is it’s warm clay shade, which is a result of a highly advanced zone-colourmetry method. Another characteristic is the matte finish of the surface, which together with the exclusive “musk Effect” emphasizes the aged character of the roof. For these reasons the Coppo Portoghese “Old Europe” has been used to make renovations to ancient buildings protected by government regulations.

The latest shade of the Coppo Portoghese is the “Sun Tile”. The Sun Tile has similar characteristics to the Old Europe colour, but in a different shade. The multi-layer treatment reproduces the warm sunny colours of the roofs of southern Italy. This effect is due to both the warm yellow clay shades and the matte finish of the surface.

The White tile was developed for roofs in areas exposed to high temperatures. The white covering reflects the sun’s radiation, and combines with the natural aeration properties of the Coppo Portoghese tile to reduce the temperature of the home. This environmentally friendly tile is gaining a lot of attention.

It’s your choice.
